New Product Release: Yamamoto Announces Release of "Thermal Medical Biorubber!" August 19, 2011
Yamamoto Corporation, the material innovator, announced it will release a heating pack medical device, "Thermal Medical Biorubber," simultaneously across Japan in early September.
The thermal gel pack that is an integral component of this product contains binchotan (white charcoal) and exhibits high performance in preventing heat loss. This component is combined with Yamamoto’s proprietary Biorubber material and a pouch. The unique Aerodome Biorubber material features a ventilation function that enables perspiration to be passed. The product also lavishly uses a titanium-alloy-coated Ti-α honeycomb-structure rubber material that prevents heat from being lost into the air.
Hyperthermia therapy: Effects include promoting blood circulation, relieving fatigue, relaxing tired and stiff muscles, relieving neuralgia pain and stimulating gastrointestinal functions
Anti-inflammatory treatment: Effects include relieving muscle pain and reducing swelling
In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in medical research papers on the concerns of the negative effects that hypothermia has on health. In addition, the wealth of books on hypothermia has spread the knowledge that "hypothermia weakens the immune system." This is a new product that we believe will improve the lives of people with hypothermia.
[Intended Use, Efficacy and Effects]
This pack provides anti-inflammatory treatment (hyperthermia therapy) by simply placing the heated pack over affected areas. It can also be used as a cooling pack that provides cooling by chilling the pack. The product is reusable.
