Thanks to all of your support, Yamamoto Corporation will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our foundation on May 1, 2014. We sincerely appreciate your continuous support.
On the opportunity of this 50th anniversary and in consideration of the next 50 years, companies must evolve (towards healthy companies) with the full-scale arrival of the aging society. Society will face various new issues such as extension of workers’ retirement age and re-employment of the elderly etc.
Therefore, compared to other corporations, Yamamoto Corporation is aiming for the "health advancement of employees," "rejuvenation of 10 years in mind and body," "promotion of re-employment," and "promotion of senior workers as full-time staff" to create a lifestyle and world in which the elderly can live in peace. To this end, we practice the "healthy management concept" and aspire to become a "first-rate healthy company" within 5 to 10 years.
As a first measure in realizing these goals, Yamamoto Corporation will conduct efforts to support the health promotion of employees by distributing to them on the 50th anniversary date Biorubber (P type), medical equipment created by the company and approved as such by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in March this year.
Furthermore, Yamamoto Corporation will aim to be a healthy company that transmits medical or health-related information useful for its employees’ health from advanced medical technologies to integrated medical technologies. This will be achieved through periodically getting information and utilizing the "healthy companies support project" which is to be started by The Society for Integrative Medicine Japan, which Yamamoto Corporation has registered as a supporting member, and the "future health coexistence society research association." By collaborating from now on with this society and association that support healthy companies, considerable fulfilment can be realized even by small- to medium-sized companies such as ours.
We are trying to make contracts with companies that can support the healthy company management concept through access to gyms, hot spa facilities, etc. Yamamoto Corporation will also be asking not only our employees but also their family members to join us in our journey for better health management.
By doing so, we aspire to be a future-oriented corporation in which the company family, made up of employees and also their family members, cooperate for the development of our business. This is an extension of the current situation where we aim to share a value concept intrinsic and special to Japan in which the company equals a family of employees.
Although we are a small- to medium-sized company, we are aim to create sufficient welfare programs for all our employees that are competitive with those at larger companies. We appreciate your continuous support of our management policy.
